In case you have never stepped foot on a yoga mat before, we’d like to tell you that you can join Atmanjai’s yoga classes with confidence.
We offer yoga classes twice a day every day. Keep in mind that the morning practice is useful for anyone on a cleanse as a healing experience which will improve circulation and get you initiated into a more profound ability to understand your body. For the Yoga and Fitness Holiday program clients, the morning practice is useful as a way of starting up the day and warms you up for the fitness session coming up soon after the yoga class.
If you are a beginner, or perhaps you’re a bit out of shape, whether on a cleanse or the Yoga and Fitness, our specialist yoga teachers are here to guide you every step of the way. We teach an array of yoga exercises, starting from newbie level, so even you first-timers needn’t worry. “Yoga is not about touching your toes, it’s about the lessons you learn on the way down” (Jigar Gor). That is one of our favorite quotes at Atmanjai. In order to take advantage of the yoga class and enjoy its benefits, you don’t have to be fit or have much previous experience. It’s not about what you look like or even how flexible you are. It’s about your mindset, your breath, mental intention, and you will find it interesting and rewarding to work with your own body in new ways. The important thing is to have an open mind so that you can begin learning to understand your body.
Our afternoon yoga classes are designed toward the Yoga and Fitness Holiday clients. For the clients on the Ultra Cleanse, that class is not recommended (as they need to get their colema and / or rest). Therefore the afternoon yoga has a smaller number of participants: the teacher gives you that special attention you need and works with you more closely. That second yoga session of the day will be a powerful tool for you to free your mind and reconnect with your breath, or take your existing yoga practice to new levels, if preferred.
We hope that you are excited to join us. We love seeing you try something new, put your mind and efforts into it, set yourself new goals and challenges, and we’re sure you will be inspired to continue with yoga when you return home!
